When the gift isn't the gift, it is the Gift
Christmas admittedly, was different this year. A family member fell ill, schedules were cleared, daily hospital visits were underway, and suddenly, the Christmas plans we originally made faded away into safekeeping for another year. Specifically, Christmas Eve. The family member who was ill was very distraught that the usual decoration, celebration and festivities were not to be.
